The tsetse fly is known as the world’s most dangerous fly, which is almost similar to the size of an average housefly. Generally, found in Sub-Saharan Africa. The first fear related to tsetse fly is that it spread protozoan parasite named Trypanosomes.

This parasite causes African sleeping sickness, which is a disease marked by neurological & meningoencephalitis symptoms. These symptoms include lack of coordination, sleeping disorder & behavioural changes.

As far as the preventive measures of this deadliest fly are concerned, one should prefer neutral-colour clothing (as tsetse fly attracts to bright colours, especially blue).

Every person should avoid close contact with bushes during day time (as it generally feeds during peak warm hours).

Its gastropods contain a sophisticated poison (conotoxin) that can stop nerve cell communications causing paralysis if left untreated. In severe cases, the person may also die in the absence of proper treatment.

  • Saltwater Crocodile

The saltwater crocodile is a short-tempered and aggressive animal species. This killer reptile is notorious for killing hundreds annually.

Cape buffalo mostly found in Sub-Saharan Africa, including Kruger National Park in South Africa. They prefer to travel in big herds to graze.

It can grow up to 6 feet tall and weigh up to one ton. They can run with a speed of up to 35 miles per hour.

  • Indian Cobra

As the name suggests, it majorly belongs to India as well as Pakistan and Sri Lanka. This hooded snake can easily be recognizable as soon as anyone spots it.

It can grow up to 5-6 feet long, and its bite can cause extreme pain, swelling, and paralysis. If the victim is left untreated for a long time, it leads to an unfortunate death. 

  • Inland Taipan

Inland Taipan or Western Taipan is known as the most venomous snake in the world. It belongs to Central Australia. Its venom is most toxic, almost 80% of victims of Inland Taipan attacks die, unfortunately.
